Finance for a short lease bargain in South Kensington
A South Kensington property had a short, 60 year lease, which was reflected in its £2.5 million price tag - lower than comparable longer lease properties. We were able to arrange a mortgage of £1.7 million for the first funding tranche, with a further £300k released once the lease had been extended. The rate was competitive, and the client was also able to carry out work to maximise the value and the rental income.
